Real World XBRL

We are visual people who prefer to work with taxonomies on screen the way they will look on paper. The composer is an easy to use taxonomy editor that lets you work with taxonomies in human readable format. You can create taxonomies and extensions from scratch, edit existing taxonomies or create new ones from existing data.

We make things as simple and intuitive as possible, even for the seasoned professional. We provide self correction in order to minimize possible errors with XBRL and FRTA/FRIS validations built in.

The experience consists of two canvases. One is your work area, the other is inventory. You create inventory objects and simply drag and drop them into position on your work area. It’s as easy as that. Many technical operations are handled for you seamlessly. For instance, if an operation requires an arc, the Composer produces any required locators. By placing objects into position, there is no need to set arc order attributes. We handle this for you based on relative positioning on your canvas.

Snappy Reports offers multiple user systems for intranet project teams. We also offer a superior system that allows for interconnectivity, replication, version control and file sharing.

Validation

Snappy Reports provides validation at the taxonomy/extension level in addition to instance documents. Validation is XBRL, XBRL Dimensions and FRTA and FRIS compliant.

Replication and Version Control

Snappy Taxonomy Composer/Editor can transmit data and taxonomies electronically to and from any other Snappy server. Taxonomies and extensions can be shared among development communities. Version control allows you to know who made what changes and when. We live in a virtual electronic world. Snappy Taxonomy Composer/Editor is a player in that space through its network implementation of shared taxonomies and data. People from all over the world can work together using Snappy Reports XBRL.
